On behalf of the WCoP organizing committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd edition of the World Conference on Pharmacometrics (WCoP), which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa in 2022.  This meeting was originally scheduled for April 2020 , but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the dates were moved forward to provide the safest option for our participants.

Pharmacometrics Africa and the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Cape Town will be your host for WCoP and will be supported by Event Management Solutions. Together with the WCoP Executive, we will join forces to produce a memorable conference, which will promote pharmacometrics research globally.

About the location:
Known as “the Mother City”, Cape Town is a gateway to Africa.  It is a major multicultural and cosmopolitan centre in Southern Africa, and a tourist destination repeatedly featured amongst the “Best places to visit in the world”. Besides its remarkable cultural and historical significance, Cape Town is truly unique because of its location: nested between two oceans and the towering slopes of Table Mountain, and surrounded by scenic winelands. With direct flights from several major international air traffic hubs, it is easy and affordable to reach. So we encourage you to come for the science, and then stay and explore all the area has to offer, and maybe bring your family along.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Cape Town in 2022!
